Confetti Magazine Shoot

Shoot for confetti magazine

Kinnitty Castle provided the perfect back drop for this shoot and we were so lucky to stay in this haunted Castle the night before the shoot. Perfect location for a wedding and the staff were so lovely.

Steve Burke Photoshoot – Look 2

We had such fun creating two different looks for Sinead a few weeks ago and as a crew we worked together very well.

And as usual Steve’s photos are gorgeous.

For this make up look I went darker, more feline and almost ballet-esque with the make up.

A full list of products used for make up,hair and nails will be posted here on the blog very soon.

Here is look 2

We played around with the nail designs, styling, hair and for make up I decided to keep the look quite natural and let the clothes do the talking. A full list of products used will be posted on my blog soon so keep an eye out.

Water Wipes – A kit essential

I’m loving using these wipes on set,at shoots, weddings and because they are natural and suitable for sensitive skin I’ve even been using them at home on my daughter too! Great for removing make up, taking the bulk from make up brushes before using brush cleaner(economical).

Perfect bed side table essential for those late nights when you are too tired to do your skin care regime in your bathroom. A swipe with a Water Wipe will remove your make up so you can sleep guilt free and avoid waking up with the panda eye look!

Water Wipes are made in Ireland so that’s another reason to try them for yourself.

Water Wipes are available in supermarkets and pharmacies throughout the country.

Wow Brown

I just love receiving goodies in the post and cannot wait to try this out. I’ve heard so much about Wow Brown and now I’m so happy I get to try it out myself in the comfort of my own home.

It’s exactly what I need as winter has set in and my pale skin has become even paler.

I’ve tried lots of false tans in my time and I’m extremely fussy about application, wearability, how the tan fades and how long it stays perfect so will be giving Wow Brown my undivided attention in preparation for going out this weekend.

Review on Wow Brown will be posted early next week

Bella Pierre Make Up Review

For the past few weeks I have been using these gorgeous products on clients on shoots, weddings and debs make up applications.

And it’s safe to say that I am in love with them.

The mineral foundations are so soft and light on skin and I was surprised by the coverage that can be achieved when using my Blank Canvas foundation buffer brush to apply it.

The loose powder blushes and bronzers are so pretty, the colours are so universal and I’m loving Autumn Glow applied to apples of cheeks with my Real Techniques blusher brush, it gives a flush of youthful colour to the base and lifts even the tiredest of my clients.

The Catwalk lipstick is so fantastic to have in my kit as the colour suits everyone and when the clear Bella Pierre gloss is added I achieve the most kissable youthful lips on each client.

The eye shadow powder stack is just brilliant and I especially love the range of colours and “champagne” is just so beautiful when applied to inner eyelid to make any accompanying eye shadow pop!

The fact that these products have absolutely no chemicals is even more reason to have them in my vast kit of Make Up and I will say it again I love them!

Real Techniques Make up Brushes

Great quality Make up Brushes are vital when it comes to applying make up. It’s the difference between shedding hairs on your models faces or scratchy harshness from cheap bad quality brushes. I have a vast array of brushes in my kit from Mac Cosmetics, Smashbox and Shu Eumura and have just had the opportunity to try these beauties from Sam Chapman’s Real Techniques range which are available on line or in Boots stores.

The softness, bristle quality and durability is so great even after constant washing and cleaning they still look brand new.

Clients have mentioned how lovely the brushes feel against their skin and I’ve had emails asking about them.
