My March Make Up Favourites

I have compiled just some of my make up favourites I have been mainly using this month.

Inglot #77 Gel Liner  This liner has become iconic in the make up world and I can vouch for that. It’s pigment is so good the black is the blackest liner I’ve come across. It’s formulation makes it easy to apply and create your desired look from a close to the lash line gentle subtle line look or a dramatic feline flick. It’s also blend-able if applied under eyeshadow to give you a dark smoky eye. Use it in the water line to smoke out the eyes and give a sexy smouldery look. This liner is a staple in my kit and I would be lost without it, I always have a spare. It’s waterproof too which means if you have “leaky eye” or may cry at the wedding you are attending your eyeliner won’t be ruined 💋

Inglot AMC Eyeliner gel is €15 Get it online here Inglot.ie

Bourjois Java Rice Powder

I picked up this Bourjois Java Rice powder as I’d read quite a few bloggers on about it and I decided to check it out. Always in search of products to give that “glow” and serial Magpie that I am I couldn’t not, could I?

I ordered it online from Boots and picked it up in my local store two days later. On first impression I fell in love with the cute vintage packaging and couldn’t wait to get home to try it.

I’ve been using it daily now on myself and a few clients and I love it. I have applied it  all over my face and also just where I want highlighting on cheekbones, down the nose and on collar bones and it’s finish is subtle and gives a gentle glow. I love the rose scent but this does fade throughout the day. I love the little swivel sifter inside which prevents you using too much and can also help wasting should it fall.

Bourjois Java Rice Powder is €12.99 available at Boots
Make Up For Ever HD Foundation

One of my all time favourite foundations! The coverage is amazing making application time so much faster. It’s so easy to apply and blend and because the coverage is so good it cuts down on concealing. I find after applying Make Up For Ever HD foundation my clients skin is flawless and may only need a minimal amount of concealer for spots which have a lot of redness or stubborn dark under eye colouring which is easily covered with either a few strokes of foundation or a small amount of concealer.

HD Foundation is an oil-free medium-to-full coverage liquid foundation which covers skin imperfections, while remaining invisible on-screen and in real life. It is available in a wide range of shades to suit all skin tones.

Make Up For Ever HD Foundation is €40.50 available here Make Up For Ever

Charlotte Tilbury Colour Chameleon pencils

I am in love with Champagne Diamonds and Dark Pearl.

Champagne Diamonds was designed to bring out the colour gemstone in your blue eyes and add sparkle to your eye make up.

Dark Pearl is designed to bring out the gemstone sparkle in brown eyes.

Thes eyeshadow pencils are easy to apply and as the product is soft in texture it doesn’t drag along the eye and is so easy to blend and smudge out.

I love applying Champagne Diamonds in the inner corner of the eye to open up small eyes and highlight the area adding a bit of sparkle too.

Dark Pearl gives anyone the ability to create a fast smoky eye.

If you want to have a subtle smoky eye I suggest applying the pencil as close to the upper and lower lash line and smudging out with your ring finger or a blending eye brush. Applying a small amount of eyeshadow over this an blending will help set it and last you all day.

For a more dramatic look, apply the Dark Pearl pencil eyeshadow all over your eyelid and blend with a brush or your fingers to smudge out any lines and blend into your socket line. I like to pat on a Similar brown eyeshadow or waned brown to set and make it stay put.

Charlotte Tilbury Colour Chameleon pencils are €25 and you can shop here Brown Thomas

CATRICE Liquid Camouflage High Coverage concealer

If you haven’t got this concealer in your make up bag or heard the rave reviews about it you need to snap one up! I love colours 010 and 020

It’s my Beauty Budget Buy of the month.

The light but creamy consistency of this concealer makes it perfect for all your concealing needs. Perfect for hiding spots or blemishes, dark circles or discolouration, pigmentation and also fab for highlighting your features and giving your face dimension.

I apply it with the applicator and blend under eyes with tip of my ring finger gently patting the product to blend it in. To conceal spots or blemishes I apply the product to the back of my hand and with a cotton bud dot it where needed and blend with a soft brush making sure not to over blend and remove the product. Setting the concealer with some setting powder ensures it will not move for the day. It’s also waterproof so great for the summer months when we are all a bit more active.

Review: Tan Organic, Self tanning oil

The lovely people from Tan Organic sent me this self tanning oil a couple of months ago and I have been trying it out.

The tanning oil is made with a unique blend of 8 different plant oils including Borage seed oil, Argan oil and Orange peel oil. TanOrganic’s Self-Tanning Oil has a subtle citrus fragrance with a hint of rose. It adds a natural bronzed effect to the skin and is lighter than our Original Self-tan but darker than a gradual tanner.

At first I was scared by the clear consistency of this oil as I am so used to applying a tinted self tanner. The first time I applied it I missed a few areas as I was in a rush to get out the door but simply applied some more to the areas I missed and it blended in perfectly.

I recommend exfoliating and moisturising all areas that are prone to dryness prior to applying the oil but to my delight it didn’t actually cling to my normally clingy dry areas as much as other tans I’ve tried.

I’ve got my application perfected now as I start on my legs first then work my way up and this way I don’t miss an area. To make the tan even and blended I apply it at night and shower in the morning.

What Tan Organic say about it:

Our super luxurious tan for the ultimate natural-looking, radiant glow that lasts for days and fades perfectly. Made wholly from natural ingredients and suitable for all skin tones with a quick-drying formula that will also moisturise for up to 7 days.
ALL NATURAL INGREDIENTS : TanOrganic is the worlds first and only Eco-certified Self-tanning brand and made wholly from natural and organic ingredients.
NO FAKE TAN SMELL : TanOrganic’s all natural formula contains no perfume’s or fragrances, so no more nasty fake tan smell.
FUSS FREE APPLICATION : Super simple to use, just apply like any other body oil, wipe the palms of your hands and you’re done.
QUICK DRYING AND ZERO TRANSFER : TanOrganic’s Self-tanning Oil is absorbed very quickly into the skin and is a clear liquid, so there is no risk of transferring to your sheets or clothes.

Tan Organic Self Tanning Oil  is €24.99 and is available online Here or check Here for a stockist near you.

Review: BUFF HD foundation and Sheer Glo Movie Star

I have been using Buff for a long time now so I thought I should share my findings.

The HD foundation lives up to its name and the coverage is great and it does give the skin a flawless finish.

The colours are good too, my most popular shades are c25&c35 yellow undertones which calm down any red/pink tones in the skin. It’s a build-able foundation too, so, if you like full coverage this is for you! It photographs great too and doesn’t leave your face looking lighter than your body.

My only gripe is that they are only 20ml, I wish they did a larger size!

There is no obvious scent or fragrance from the Buff HD foundation as I know a lot of people find fragrances in make up can be overpowering.

Buff HD Foundation €30 buy Here online or from

Weir’s Pharmacy, Mullingar Here

Movie Star Sheer Glo:

I love this illuminating liquid from buff! It’s formulation is like magic liquid for the skin. I have been using this on myself and clients and it gives a definite glow to the skin without it looking too oily or glittery.

You can apply it to areas you wish to highlight : cheekbones, down the centre of the nose, enhance your lips and apply on your Cupid’s bow, highlight your collar bones, shins(front of your legs).

I have also applied it all over the face (avoiding eye area) under foundation and it gives a soft focus, blurred effect to skin. If you love glowing skin, you will love this product.

Wet n Wild Mega Last Lipstick Reviews

I picked up two of the lasting lipsticks from Wet N Wild a few months ago and have been trying them out on myself and on clients. I am impressed with the colour payoff, the pigment, the creamy consistency and the lasting power. They last about 4-5hrs even through eating and drinking, talking, rubbing lips together and general life! I’ve also applied the lipstick, blotted with tissue, reapplied, set with loose powder and they last much longer, you could get up to 8hrs if you follow this process.

The two colours I chose are E902C Bare It All a gorgeous nude colour which has been hailed as a dupe for Velvet Teddy from MAC a Kylie Jenner favourite before she designed and created her own range.

The second colour is E912C In The Flesh is a pink lipstick I love, gorgeous as a daytime pick me up. My daughter said “your eyes pop when you wear that colour Mummy” it’s also been a popular colour with brides as it’s a pink with depth and the lasting power means less time topping up during the day.

My March Skin Care Favourites

My skin has been so dry and dehydrated lately and I have been exfoliating 2-3 times a week to remove dead skin cells and replenish skin with oils and moisturisers.

Here are a list of products I have loved this month :
Burts Bees Lemon Poppy Seed Facial Cleanser:  I’ve been using this for a couple of years now so I have to include it. It’s so good when your skin is feeling tired and dry as it cleans and gently exfoliates removing surface dead skin but it’s gentle enough to use daily. The lemon scent is great for mornings too and I keep it in my shower and just rinse it off with a facecloth (flannel) when I’m in the shower, time saving when I’m stuck for time.

Clarins one step gentle exfoliating cleanser with orange extract:  I’ve had this ages and it’s definitely my favourite exfoliator. The tiny particles really get in to the skin and remove dry flaky skin. My skin is left fresh and shiny afterwards and I love the clean feeling it gives.

No.7 Beautiful Skin, Hot Cloth Cleanser:  I have been using this for a few months now morning and night(it’s all gone now) I use just one pump and it removes all my make up including mascara. I apply it to my face using circular motions and then hop into the shower and use a facecloth(flannel) or muslin cloth with warm water to gently remove all my make up and it leaves my skin feeling really soft. (I boil wash all my face cloths then and dry in dryer to get them nice and soft and fluffy).

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water:  This is a great little cleanser which removed everything but not Inglot gel liner. (This took a bit of scrubbing) which is not great around the gentle eye area. I use this with cotton discs and gently rub in circular motion to remove my make up.

Clarins Blue Orchid Face Treatment Oil:   This oil was sent to me by Clarins ages ago and as you can see by the bottle I just love it. I use 4-5 drops rubbed in my hands and apply to whole face (avoiding eyes) and neck and let it soak in before I sleep at night. The fragrance is gorgeous and the oil leaves my skin glowing and soft the next morning when I wake, what’s not to love.

Check out my next blog which will feature my March Make Up Favourites 💋

Make Up Brush Care

How you treat your make up brushes will determine their longevity. I have always been scrupulous about keeping my brushes clean since my days in Make Up For Ever when I was 16 and did my work experience there. Annie was always great at teaching me all her tricks and her attention to detail has had a lasting effect on me.

My time with M.A.C. Also made me hygiene conscious as the cleaning routine we had at the end of our day always sticks with me. We used to clean each and every lipstick, eyeshadow, faoundation thoroughly with Alcohol, cotton buds, tissues and Kitchen roll it really was an incredible routine we had going. Brush washing was never any of our favourite thing to do but two of us were always put of brush washing duties and this was a job in itself.

We used to wash the make up brushes with M.A.C. Shampoo and conditioner and these brushes always held their shape and quality.

I still wash my brushes with Shampoo or Fairy Anti-Bacterial washing up liquid and once a month I will condition the natural haired brushes to keep them soft.

This cute little “Brush Egg” was sent to me by the lovely girls in The Beauty Deli and it definitely does speed up the brush washing routine.
 *My Top Tip*

Make sure you rinse the brushes thoroughly though as they wont dry properly and the residue will effect blending performance of the brushes.

Always lay the brushes flat to avoid the ferrule or handles getting wet as this can effect the glue holding your brushes together.

On-Spot-Brush-Cleaners:

I have tried lots of brush cleaners and my favourite would be the brush cleaner from M.A.C. €15.50 As its fast drying, so I can use at weddings or shoots and don’t have to wait long for a brush to be dry.

A good budget buy would be the Penneys brush cleaner for €2.50 or Flormar brush cleanser €4.95

Surgical spirits are great for lip and liner brushes as it removes the waxy build up from lipsticks or glosses and removes gel eye liner fully even Inglot #77 Gel Liner!!

How often should you clean your brushes:

*Eyeshadow, blush and bronzer powder brushes should ideally be washed once every two weeks.

*Brushes that are used to apply liquid make-up like concealer, foundation, lipstick, or gel liner should be cleaned after each use, as when a brush gets wet, it can easily breed germs

*Cleaning brushes regularly also ensure that there is no product build up either which can makes it harder to apply your makeup flawlessly.

Product list for Confetti Magazine Cover Shoot

I have had so many mails asking me what products I used on the current cover of Confetti Magazine so I have detailed it all here for you.

I wanted to create a fresh, pretty, youthful and sophisticated make up look for the cover shoot with Grace. Here’s a product list and how I achieved it.

Face:

Her skin is perfection so I kept the foundation application light mixing Charlotte Tilbury Wonderglow with her Magic Foundation, this gave Graces skin a glowy yet flawless finish.

Contouring: was light using light brush movements to avoid that harsh look.

Blush:
I chose Cheek to Chic “Love is the drug” from Charlotte Tilbury for the blusher as this gave her a pop of colour on her cheeks without it looking too rosy!

  Eyes:

I used the Sophisticate palette from Charlotte Tilbury and Champagne Diamonds eyeshadow pencil to give Graces eyes definition with a shimmer effect on the inner corner of the eyes to open them up.
 Edit

Liner was understated keeping product close to the top lashline and applying Charlotte Tilbury eye cheat to the waterline really opened the eyes up. Next I applied some mascara and some individual lashes with duo glue to add volume to lashes. Mascara was again added to blend lashes to individual ones & lighly applied to lower lashes.

Lips:
Lip Magic to prep and moisturise lips
Liner: Pink Venus lip cheat

Lipstick: colour of youth was applied to blend liner and give a flush of colour rather than a structured lip look, keeping it youthful and pretty.

All Charlotte Tilbury cosmetics and
Using Blank Canvas Cosmetics Brushes.

I used individual lashes from Penneys to add subtle volume to Grace’s lashes.

Cocoa Brown Golden Goddess oil was applied to any skin on show, this stuff really is amazing and smells gorgeous too.

Review: Master Series Palette One by Blank Canvas Cosmetics

Today I am reviewing one of my all time favourite make up palettes from Blank Canvas Cosmetics The Master Series Palette One.

This has quickly become a staple product in my kit for the last few months of using it and in my daily life as a make up artist. Most people ask me for a smoky look and the look requested can vary from Natural smoky to dramatic smoky and with this palette I can achieve all of the above and more.  The shades are Matte except for Goddess which is Frosted(Shimmer) and this can also be used as a highlighter on cheekbones, down the nose and to accentuate your Cupid’s bow.

Above I have swatched the palette on my forearm to show you the pigment without the use of a primer. The colours are highly pigmented and they blend so easily.

I have used this palette on every possible occasion it’s such a versatile palette with colours you will actually use and wear yourself.

I can’t pick my favourite colours as I’ve used them all and they all compliment each other.

If you’re like me in the mornings and are rushing to do the school run or have five minutes spare before you have to leave for work there are lots of “one colour eye look possibilities” in this palette.

Today I was rushing to get my daughter Zara-Zöe and her friend Holly to art camp and so I just quickly applied the shade Hibiscus with the E40 end of the brush on my lid and smudged it under my lower lashes with the tip of the brush. I then used the E41 end of the brush to blend the colour in to my socket line and blended out the colour under my lower lashes making sure nothing looked harsh and it was like a soft wash of colour.

Here’s the brush which comes with the palette and if your familiar with Blank Canvas Brushes you’ll know that the brush quality is great and this brush is no different.  Overall I give this palette the thumbs up and think any girl would be delighted to get one of these and would be a perfect gift idea.

The Master Series Palette One is €34.99 and available Here

*At time of publishing this blog, the Master Series Palette One is currently SOLD OUT but will be back in stock on 12th of May 2016!

Review of Cocoa Brown Golden Goddess oil

This gorgeous Golden Goddess oil created by Marrissa Carter is definitely one product every girl should have.   I’ve used it on myself, brides, models on shoots and the effect is just brilliant. I’ve used it on cheek bones to highlight and add a bit of shimmer for girls on a night out.  Yesterday I applied it to my bride as her arms needed a little glamming up and it gives a lovely sheen to the skin without looking too glittery.  The stunning Jo Archbold from Morgan The Agency for Frocknfabulous

A lot of my clients have since bought it after seeing it in action and how flattering it is.

I applied Golden Goddess oil on the beautiful Grace O’Mahony on the cover on of our Confetti Magazine Summer Shoot.

Uses:

I’ve applied it to collar bones to accentuate the neck lines.

It’s been applied to models arms and legs at shoots to take the bare look away and it looks amazing in photos.

Oh, I forgot to mention how delicious it smells too.

Cocoa Brown Golden Goddess oil can be bought in Meaghers Pharmacy or CocoaBrown.ie

Review: Tan Organic Multi-Purpose Dry Oil

My love for this oil started on a shoot with Frock n Fabulous and the beautiful Model Jo Archbold let me in on her beautiful skin secret….

Since then I was delighted when Tan Organic sent me some to try. I’ve brought it with me everywhere and used it on everyone and everything.

The biggest plus for me is the fact it can be used for hair, skin, hands, dry skin, tight skin, just wonderful and the smell is so gorgeous and light and it dries so quickly too which means it’s perfect to apply after the shower in the morning before you get dressed.

I decided to try this on my “winter feet” ( dry from winter, cold weather) and put my socks on and slept overnight. The next morning my skin has improved, it definitely worked. I’ve also added it to my bath and have used it on the ends of my hair to make them appear less dry. It’s also great for little fly away hairs instead of using hair products and as its moisturising it nourished the hairs and scalp and improved the appearance too.

Tan Organic is available in Pharmacies nationwide or online Here

Review: Boots Botanics

A few months ago I saw these in Boots and decided to give them a go. After all I loved the Botanics All Bright Radiance Balm.

I was really disappointed with these. I used them for two weeks and I had a break out , lots of spots and they just didn’t agree with my skin at all. So I’ve given them to my mum to try.

At least they were reasonably priced and I’ve got my skin back to normal now.

CONFETTI MAGAZINE COVER SHOOTS

I was delighted to be asked to work with the gorgeous people in Confetti magazine again.

The models on the day were Katie Larmour  and Grace O’Mahony, just beautiful.

We shot the covers in The Mill Studio which is just massive but freezing cold that day, I came down with the worst cold following it.

The crew were all new to me and what a great experience it was.

Anita Sadowska-Horne was the photographer on the day and I can’t wait to see the images. I’ve admired her work for a long time and was delighted when I heard I was going to be working alongside her.

Don Horne was shooting behind the scenes footage in the studio throughout the day and judging by his previous videos we are in for a treat when he is finished editing it.
Carmel Ann Daly styled the shoot and boy did she come with all guns blazing! The dresses, accessories and shoes were divine. The jewellery even had their own security guard they were that special.

Glen Cullen did an impeccable job with the hair and made it look so effortlessly glamorous with movement so the styles weren’t stiff as so many up styles can look. Glen was assisted by the lovely Cian.

Michele Burke was there to manicure and give the girls the prettiest nails in pink/ peachy gelish, she was great fun and provided lots of laughs as we snapchatted through the day. Michele does Pippa O’Connors nails amongst other well known faces so she is top of her game and  such a treat to work with her.

Review: This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray

My Mum had an accident last December and had problems sleeping. My sister in law gave her a This Works gift set and in it was this sleep spray. Mum loved it and asked me to get her some more so when I was getting her one I decided to get one for myself as I was having problems winding down at night too.

I do realise being a mother I stress and worry about my child, school, friends, schedules and basically it sometimes keeps me awake for hours.

I’ve tried lots of different methods before to relax and unwind before bed but nothing really worked.

Anyway I gave the Deep Sleep Pillow spray a go and I have not slept better! The scent makes me feel relaxed and calm. It definitely does work and I’m nearly finished the bottle after 3 months, I’m not sure how long you should get out of it but I was spritzing my pillows and duvet before I brushed my teeth so when I slipped into bed the aroma was in my whole bedroom.

I do like lavender scent, I used to think it was a “Granny Smell” but now I associate it with my bedroom and sleep.

I would recommend this sleep spray to anyone having problems sleeping and do so regularly. I think I’ve told everyone possible about it.

That’s all from me for now and I look forward to spritzing my bed this evening and to a great night sleep and waking refreshed and alive in the morning 💋

This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray is available from Meaghers Pharmacy and Boots

Goodies I receieved from Charlotte Tilbury

This package from Charlotte Tilbury has totally blown me away. The very beautiful girls at Charlotte Tilbury sent me a gorgeous selection of some of her iconic products to try and use on shoots!

I used some of these products on a recent Cover shoot for Confetti Wedding Magazine and I was very impressed.

*Charlotte’s Magic Cream is just the most gorgeous moisturiser which is just divine on the skin, it made the skin feel soft and hydrated to the touch and the fragrance is like honey! It also has an SPF 15 in it to protect you from harmful UVA. It’s also a treatment for the skin which transforms tired dull skin and it’s anti aging properties of collagen-boosting ingredients will make your skin appear younger! Bring it on:)

*Wonder Glow: what a product! It’s a liquid highlighter which unlike many I’ve tried and tested before is a beautiful colour, not too glittery or white. It can be used alone after moisturising, under foundation or over foundation. It gives the skin that glowy appearance I’m so often asked for and is subtle enough to not glare or flashback in photos. A real must have for every make up bag I think.

*Magic foundation:

I was sent two colours: 2 Fair and 5 Medium.

I absolutely love this foundation. I’ve tried it on myself and on clients and the consistency is so smoothing and soft to the touch. Coverage is medium-full and is not at all drying on the skin in fact I think when you are wearing the foundation it nearly feels like it’s good for your skin in a skin treatment kind of way. And again it smells gorgeous.

*Lip Magic

This gorgeous lip product gives your lips nourishment and moisture which is badly needed after winter. It rejuvenates and smoothes lips thus making them appear younger and fuller. The consistency is not too sticky and it’s perfect under lipstick or glosses as it continues to replenish your lips while you wear it. And it’s handy pot can travel anywhere with you. Another make up bag must have.

*Cheek to Chic – Swish & Pop Blusher – Love is The Drug.

“Your cheeks should GLOW with the flush of first love every day”

I love this blusher, the colour and the pigment are so strong yet easily blended a little goes a long way.the colour is really the flushed pretty look, like you’ve just had a lovely stroll through the park.

Charlotte recommends:

SWISH brush around the outer shade, tap off the excess, smile in a mirror then run brush flat on top of cheekbones, to add structure.

POP- Dip tip of brush in the centre colour, tap off excess. Pop onto apples of the cheeks to make them glow. Blend seamlessly together.

*Charlotte Tilbury & Norman Parkinson – Colour Of Youth. Healthy,Happy Lip & Cheek Glow.

“Capture the youthful,soft-focus light of Parkinson’s lens, encased in the dreamy glamour of vintage Hollywood”

Apply to the cheeks for a youthful flush using a foundation brush or your fingertips. Start from the apple of cheek and work outwards.

I love this product, it’s so gorgeous and fresh for the spring/ summer and so easy to blend. I’ve used it on the lips too and it’s just like a hint of colour. The pigment is great too so go easy. A light dusting of translucent powder will make this last longer and set it so it doesn’t budge all day.

*The Sophisticate Luxury Palette

Genius little palette and the colours are neutral so wearable for most. Warm and cool Browns with blend so easily together and the pigment is great. A perfect handbag/make up bag essential for nude/brown eyeshadow lovers.

“Each palette contains four harmonious shades in an easy-to-use application ritual”

“The power to mesmerise is in your eyes. With this make-up, hypnotise”

Rock’N’Kohl eye cheat for bigger brighter eyes.

The classic- eye powder pencil.

Both of these pencils have made my life!

*The iconic eye cheat totally brightens up your eyes in an instant and really does last all day/night. I don’t know why I didn’t have this before. It’s so great for freshening up models who have just come from a long day shooting or a bride who hasn’t slept well the night before her wedding. I do think it should be called the “MAGIC PENCIL” a definite for everyone.

“For the ultimate rock chick ‘Bedroom Eyes’, rest the pencil in the inner corner lash line and draw along to define the eye. Retrace &smoke up for added drama”

“Lasts for up to 14 hours with no transfer”

*The classic eye shadow pencil-The Sophia.

Such a soft eye pencil which is so versatile and easy to use. Can be used to line lash line or to create a smoky eye. So easy to blend and can transform your day look to a night time look very quickly if you are time limited. Gorgeous brown which would complement any skin/eye colour and less harsh than black liner.

*Lip Cheat. Re-Shape & Re-Size Lip Liner

I was sent the shade ‘Pink Venus’ which actually is perfect with the ‘Colour of Youth’ product I spoke about earlier. A lovely soft pencil which makes liking lips so easy as it doesn’t drag. Staying power is great (up to 7 hrs) and it’s waterproof so perfect for the beach. I also used this alone and dabbed some *Lip Magic on top and it was so fresh and pretty.

*Colour Chameleon pencils

I was sent two shades:

*Champagne Diamonds:

Charlotte recommends this for blue eyes but I think it’s gorgeous on green and brown eyes too. ” Intensify your eyes’ Natural colour & sparkle. Choose from a soft-focus day or stunning night look tailored to your eye colour. Infused with synthetic sapphire. Lasts up to 10hours and is waterproof.”

It’s so creamy and lovely to blend. I blended this with fingertips and it’s gorgeous on the inner corner of the eyes to open eyes up and give a wide awake effect. The glitter is subtle and pretty and it’s so light not like other cream shadow sticks.

*Dark Pearl:

This is so gorgeous and for those who struggle to create a smoky eye, this would make your life so much easier. It’s the kind of product I will recommend to my clients to have in your handbag so you can create a night time look straight after work and head to the bar.

*K.I.S.S.I.N.G. Nude Kate lipstick

This gorgeous nude lipstick is so popular and I can see why. It’s a warm nude with peachy under tones and so moisturising on lips. Would suit most skin colours and is a perfect lipstick to accompany a dark smoky eye.

*Matte Revolution- Between the Sheets is a coral colour lipstick with lasting power. Would be gorgeous on brides and because it’s matte it would need less touch ups compared to other lipsticks or glosses. The pigment is good so only a light application is needed.

I hope you have enjoyed reading this blog on my Charlotte Tilbury goodies and you can find the full range on her site Here
